Lego - 4-8 years

This class engages children in creative and educational play with Lego bricks, fostering problem-solving skills and spatial awareness. Through building projects and challenges, kids develop fine motor skills and teamwork while having fun.


I am Ukrainian (includes study of major holidays, state symbols, etc.) - 4-7 years

In this class, children will delve into the rich tapestry of Ukrainian culture, much like an ethnographic journey. They will engage in hands-on crafts that reflect traditional Ukrainian arts, enhancing their understanding of cultural expressions. The curriculum includes the study of Ukrainian traditions and major holidays, where students will learn about the historical and cultural significance of each event. Additionally, they will explore state symbols and their meanings, fostering a deeper connection to their heritage. This class aims to build a sense of identity and pride in being Ukrainian, all while developing artistic skills and cultural knowledge.


Ethnography (ritual cycle, crafts related to traditions, myths and stories) - 7-10 years

In this class, children will immerse themselves in the diverse world of Ukrainian ethnography, exploring the ritual cycle and its significance. They will learn about various Ukrainian holidays and traditions, delving into their historical and cultural roots. Through hands-on crafts, students will create items that are closely related to these traditions, allowing them to express their creativity while connecting with their heritage. Additionally, the curriculum includes the study of myths, enriching their understanding of Ukrainian folklore and storytelling. This class aims to provide a comprehensive cultural education, fostering a sense of identity and pride in Ukrainian heritage while developing artistic and cognitive skills.


Handicrafts (sewing, embroidery, knitting) - 10 years and older

In this class, students will explore the traditional skills of sewing, embroidery, and knitting, gaining hands-on experience in each craft. They will learn various techniques and patterns, starting from basic stitches to more complex designs, allowing them to create beautiful and functional items. The curriculum will cover the cultural significance and historical context of these handicrafts, highlighting their importance in Ukrainian heritage. Through these activities, students will not only develop fine motor skills and patience but also foster a deeper appreciation for traditional arts and crafts. This class aims to build confidence and creativity, providing a meaningful connection to cultural practices while producing tangible, personalized works of art.


Ukrainian Geography and History - 10 years and older

In this class, students will explore the diverse geography of Ukraine, studying its regions, major cities, and natural features. They will gain an understanding of Ukraine’s climate, topography, and ecosystems, fostering an appreciation for their homeland's geographic diversity.

Students will also delve into Ukrainian history, covering key events, figures, and periods that have shaped the nation. Through interactive activities, projects, and discussions, they will develop spatial awareness, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of Ukraine’s cultural heritage and national identity. This class aims to cultivate a sense of national pride and an informed appreciation of Ukraine’s significance in both geography and history.
