HraiMore
HraiMore (“The Sea is playing music”) is a band created in 2022 by volunteers from Washington State who cherish their Ukrainian ancestry and traditions. We meticulously reproduce costumes and jewelry, delve into the nuances of authentic singing and dancing, and revive traditional handicrafts and rituals - all of it based on folklore and field research by ethnographers from all over Ukraine, ensuring the authenticity of our work. Our group is part of the Ukrainian Cultural Center Toloka. HraiMore provides a welcoming space for artistic expression, assisting individuals to find harmony and balance through the joy and depth of Ukrainian traditional art. Our creativity is not just a form of expression; it's a journey of wonder and appreciation, a source of awe and inspiration.
